Cliff's Notes: My Life...

Well, I did not intend on taking an extended hiatus from blogging, but that is pretty much what happened.  My last post was February 9th. Wow!  Sorry, y'all!
If you are friends with me in real life or on Facebook, you know that I am still alive and kicking.

See, here is photographic evidence:

You also know how hectic, but fantastic things are.  Let me take a minute and give you the "Cliff's Notes" version of the last couple of months.  Ready??   **Deep breath in**

February -  In February I was offered a new job, which after some prayer and consideration, I accepted quickly.  I will be a Junior High/ High School teacher at the Christian school at our church. Ironically, it is the school that I attended and graduated from a  couple   few  ok, several years ago.  Me..a teacher?  I would've never in a million years considered that.  However, when God calls you to do something...your thoughts and consideration really aren't relevant.  So, fully trusting in God, I put in my resignation at my current job.  I will stay working here until the end of July.  I am over-the-moon excited about teaching!  I hope that God will use me to make a difference in these kids' lives, spiritually and educationally.  I also did one of the things that I had resolved to do back in January.  I went back to school.  I am officially a student at Hyles-Anderson College (online).  I have already completed 1 course and am excited to be able to finally get a degree.  In February, I also guest posted on my most favoritest of blogs.  I was honored that Maria asked me and it was a blast.  :o)

March -  Don't think anything too exciting happened in March...just life...and recovering from a hectic February.  :o)

April -  In April, we celebrated Easter, D's birthday and my Toots turned 10 (sniff sniff).
Oh yeah and my D made me the happiest lady in the world and asked me to be his wife!  YAY!!

I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with this amazing man and our precious (and crazy) kids!

May -  In May, I celebrated a birthday.  I'm not sure why 33 is not sitting well with me yet.  It is so close to "mid-30's" I think and I'm not ready for that milestone.  Thankfully, I really have been much too busy to sit and get depressed about how old I am.  ;o)     Between family, church, WMS, school, work and preparing for a busy Summer...life doesn't show any signs of slowing down.  And that is just fine and dandy with me!!

**Deep breath out**   Whew!  That was a lot to cover, but now we're caught up.  :o)

I cannot promise that I will be jumping back in head-first into blogging, but I have missed it and hope to be able to post on a more regular basis.

So, until next time....

God bless you!!

    1. Thanks, Sherry! No, I didn't know you were a HAC grad. All of our pastorial staff and their wives (included is my sister) are all HAC grads as well. :o)
