30 days of thankful...#23

#23 - I am thankful for...my mother!!!!

This beautiful lady birthed me into this world a few thirty-something years ago!  Thanks, Mom!

Then, a few years after that, she birthed 4 of my best friends.  Thanks, mom!

The 23rd (the day I was supposed to have this posted) was my Mom's birthday.

Here she is at the ripe old age of 5 months:

I am thankful that we have had another year with her in our lives.

I am thankful for all the changes that have happened in our lives in the past year.

Here we are on her birthday last year.

I am thankful for the generations of great women in our family.

Here are 4 of those generations...I'm the shortest one.  ;o)

I am thankful that my Mom raised us girls to be ladies...even though she was convinced sometimes that it would never stick.  lol

I am thankful that she took us to church every week growing up.

I am thankful that she was a good example of how to raise a large family on a budget.

So much that I practice now in my own frugal-living, I learned from her.  Thanks, Mom!

I am thankful that she is a good "Nana" to our babies.

I am thankful that she has always been there to laugh and cry with.

I am thankful for her good advice and delicious cooking.  Thanks, Mom!

She is the rock of our family!!

Happy (belated) Birthday, Mom!!  I love you!
